Raising funds for our children’s Latin dance program

https://www.facebook.com/donate/605482203517880/?fundraiser_source=external_url We are going into 3rd and 4th grade classes and teaching these youngsters the Culture of Latin dance as well as giving them the physical, mental and social benefits of learning partner dancing and using their bodies to perform this amazing Art form.

We will use the money for costumes and hours of dedication to teaching each classroom 1 hour a week for 6-weeks and performing in front of their parents.

We plan on teaching thousands of children in the City of Long Beach over a 4 month period in 2020 from March to June 2020.

About Josie Neglia:

I have been teaching for over 20 years and have been invited to teach and

perform in 18 countries and over 50 cities. My passion is Latin dance and I believe it is the ecstasy of life!

I have taught children for many years. The age group between 8-10 years old is a very special age because they are learning social manners and many have never touched hands of the opposite gender so teaching them partner dancing during these fun Coltural dances (Salsa, Bachata and Merengue) gives them an opportunity to learn respect and tollerance while learning the skills of movement and musicality.
